The privacy and security of your confidential information is very important to PLC Electronic Solutions (collectively referred to as “we”, “us”, “PLC Calibration”, or “PLC Electronic Solutions”). This privacy policy describes what information we collect, how we use that information in providing our products and services to you and how you may opt out of receiving product updates and other information from us.
USE OF INFORMATION
This information is used to inform you of updates or changes to the service. We may notify you of products and services offered by us, our resellers, affiliates, but NOT from other third parties. Contact information is also used to contact the visitor when necessary. We DO NOT use contact information from the registration form to send the user promotional material from some of our partners. NEWSLETTERS
PLC Electronic Solutions offers free electronic newsletters to users. We gather the email addresses of users who voluntarily subscribe. Customers may remove themselves from any mailing list by following the instructions contained in every newsletter. They can also subscribe to the newsletters at the time of registration.
SURVEYS
PLC Electronic Solutions occasionally conducts customer surveys to better target our content and product inventory to our audience. We never share any information about specific individuals with any third party.
TRACKING
PLC Electronic Solutions tracks user traffic patterns throughout www.plcelectronicsolutions.com and www.plccalibration.com and this information is correlated with data about individual users. Overall usage statistics, according to a user’s domain name, browser type and MIME type gotten by reading this information from the browser string (information contained in every user’s browser) are also broken down. We also track and catalogue the search terms that customers enter into our search tools, but this tracking is never associated with individual users.
UNSUBSCRIBE
Users may unsubscribe to any of our electronic newsletters at any time by following the instructions contained at the end of each newsletter.
DISCLOSURE
We may provide order information obtained by cookies and shopper preference information (or a subset of such information) to third party resellers of the service, merchants and third parties who are affiliated with our service, provide services to us in support of the service or advertise on the service. PLC Electronic Solutions does not sell information about its customers and we will only share your information under very limited circumstances – always under strict controls against disclosure. It is necessary to share such information, for example, with outside vendors who assist us in sending communications. We require these vendors to keep your information confidential and we prohibit them from using your information for their own purposes.

Employees who violate our privacy policy are subject to disciplinary action. We take all necessary steps to protect your privacy. Whenever you provide sensitive information, we take all necessary steps to protect it. We will also take reasonable security measures to protect your personal information in storage. Credit card numbers are used only for payment processing and are not used for marketing purposes.
